The Rambles of Neil Monnery

Another pointless voice in the vast ocean that is the interweb

About Me

with 7 comments

Hello Everybody.

To paraphrase the legend that is Rocky Balboa ‘I’m just another bum from the neighbourhood’ but there is a little bit more to me than that.

For those who don’t know me my name is Neil and I’m a 32 year-old working in the Search Marketing industry. However I have not set up this blog for that reason but I felt like I wanted a place where I could ramble on about anything I so desired with more than 140 characters and deep down I just wanted to buy my own domain name because it sounded like a good idea.

To sum me up in a few short characters my Twiiter bio is as follows ‘Former Sports Editor now SEO Consultant and once more a Sports Editor. Lib Dem, Blogger, Pompey mush, Owner of Care Bears & doesn’t have long hair.’

This blog hopefully will just be a place I can vent on anything that tickles my fancy. You can get in touch with me by following the icons on the top of the right-hand column. From my Facebook profile through to Twitter, LinkedIn and then my e-mail address.

I hope you enjoy the blog and of course the standard any opinions expressed in this blog are my own to end.

  1. After much discussion with friends we have voted Nicki the best looking, lady on the show. What’s wrong in being fussy,it’s a gift. Probably a lovely Virgo.Great eyes and skin too.

  2. My take on the Eastleigh by election is that the result may be skewed as a result of a lower than average turnout caused in part by the non attractions of equally non attractive divisions in the Tory party, and, similarly divisions in the Liberal Party.
By contrast those divisions are not apparent in the Labour Party or UKIP and the latter appears to be enjoying a more mainstream popularity.

The shareout I put at Tories 15K; Liberal Democrats 10K; Labour 10K and UKIP 7K.

  3. Hello There,

My name is Maria and I’m a professional blogger.

I have over 5 years of experience writing for the web and have covered plenty of topics about Fashion. I just came across your blog and would like to contribute some relevant, useful topics about Fashion on your blog at no cost.

At this point in my writing career, I simply want to get more visibility for your writing and I will write for free as long as you are okay with me adding a small author bio section next to each blog post about myself.

Please let me know if you’re interested and if you’d like for me to submit a sample blog post for your approval.

    Thanks a bunch,

    Maria Jefferies

  7. Lord Paddy Ashdown said on BBC worldservice that Cameron has to answer to the money his party is acquiring in donations from the Saudis and Qataris> What is most disturbing is that the United Kingdom has always been the source of inspiration for an evolving old democracy, multi faiths, open mindedness and a united country, yet when the Scottish independence was debated and just before the vote when all politicians on all sides were lobbying for a matter that touches the nerves of the UK, William Hague failed to pass a bill to parliament to fund the so called Free Syrian Army, which we all know it consisted of 75% of ISIL… imagine funding ISIL from the tax payers money to appease the Saudis
Please sign this petition against terror sponsoring states rather than desecrating Islam
Please circulate among friends to get the votes to force PM to condemn Saudi Arabia
