This morning I received the e-mail below. Straight away I knew it was a virus of some sort but some googling has shown that by opening the file attached to the e-mail, it will attempt to download a binary trojan horse on to your computer. So if you get the following e-mail please delete straight away and do not open the attached file.

We are making a payment to you.
Please find attached a copy of our remittance advice, which will reach your bank account on 11/12/2014.
If you have any questions regarding the remittance please contact us using the details below.

Exactly the same as other users. Found in Junk folder on 11.12.14. Googled the company and found this website. Keep up the good work.
Oh, and the signature on my email was Samantha Bray.
Help!! I really didn’t mean to but I opened the attachment. Now I can’t hear anyone and vivice versa when I make/rcv calls. Is this the virus? How do I get rid? I never ever normally do this I’m always so suspicious
This message was left on my e-mail account yesterday, I thankfully was suspicious of it, as I don’t know the company and can’t work out why they would want to give me money. In my case the company was also called Anglian Engineering Solutions, but I also tried to phone no which said it was an unallocated no.

I got it to. I tried to open it on my mac and hope that the opporating system confused the trojan
